Tribal Support

The National Native American Supplier Council (NNASC) is proud that our nonprofit corporation is for Natives by Natives. The corporation is formed on a membership basis and Tribal Governments Members are the primary membership class, with control of the corporation.

Tribal Government Members must be a federally recognized Tribe or Native Entity within the State of Alaska as defined by the U.S. Department of Interior, a Federally Listed Native Hawaiian Organization as identified on the list maintained by the U.S. Department of Interior, First Nations, Metis, or Inuit Nations that can evidence formal recognition from the federal government of Canada.

Tribal Governments must submit a certified resolution of their governing body in support of the NNASC to obtain membership. There are no annual fees for our members. The membership structure is a key differentiation to ensure that the NNASC is for Natives by Natives.

Becoming a member Tribe of NNASC is truly straightforward and simply requires a Tribe to pass a resolution of support. A template resolution can be found here.
